Fenceline Construction Impacts Employee Parking – Shuttle Begins – Mon, April 7th

The fenceline construction project has been progressing quickly, and we are now at the point of repaving the lot and eventually restriping to expand our office parking lot. Unfortunately, with gain, there’s pain.
Beginning Monday, April 7th, the outer white fenceline in the office parking lot will be torn out and demo’d. As a result, the office and tandem parking spaces along the fence will go away. Scroll down for how this might impact you.

- DEMO’D (RED): All office and tandem parking adjacent to the fence will be affected and reallocated per below. The tear-out of this fenceline will NOT impact normal sized vehicle deliveries such as Fedex or Amazon—they can drive in as usual to deliver to the Shipping Receiving area.
- MGBW VEHICLES (YELLOW): These will be reserved for Todd, Laura, Eric and company vehicles.
- CUSTOMERS (PINK): Each reallocated parking spot will have a Boat Name sign up on Monday. Project Managers should work with Eric and Kitty to direct Customers/Crew where to search for their reallocated parking spots.
- VISITOR (PURPLE): There’ll be only ONE (1) GUEST spot open for visitors. We encourage you to book virtual meetings or make arrangements for them to use the MGBW Parking + Shuttle program (details below).
- MGR+SUPERS (GREEN/BLUE): The “island” of parking spaces that’s left are reserved for Managers and Supervisors on a first come, first serve basis.
ANYONE IMPACTED BY THE FENCELINE CONSTRUCTION MAY USE MGBW’s FREE PARKING + SHUTTLE PROGRAM
MGBW has made arrangements with Safe Harbor Chula Vista Marina to use their parking lot between The Galley Restaurant and the Safe Harbor Buildings as an alternative parking lot for anyone affected by this construction.
MGBW’s Shuttle Program will begin Monday, April 7th on a morning and afternoon schedule (scroll down for schedule/map). Pick up/Drop off will be on Marina Parkway right before the second U-Turn. Transportation outside the scheduled times can be arranged with the appropriate people below.

Managers and Supervisors- be sure to tell your team to arrive early to account for the time it takes to shuttle to the yard.
