Los Cabos Press ReleasesMarine Group Boat Works Announces Major Facility Upgrades, Strengthening Cabo Location as the Region’s Premier Shipyard
Marine Group Boat Works (MGBW), a leading full-service shipyard and marine services provider, is proud to announce significant upgrades and service enhancements at its Los Cabos facility. These improvements reinforce Marine Group’s commitment to delivering world-class infrastructure, expanded capabilities, and unmatched customer support for vessels operating throughout Baja California.
Marine Group de Los Cabos ‘enhancements are designed to improve operational efficiency, while increasing convenience and customer support for vessel owners and operators.
Key Facility Upgrades and Service Enhancements Include:
New Secure Storage Bodegas
The newly constructed storage bodegas provide customers with secure and convenient spaces to store vessel equipment and gear. Located adjacent to its dry storage boat housing, these bodegas help protect equipment from the environment while providing easy accessibility for owners, captains, and crew.
Expanded Utility Infrastructure
Marine Group de Los Cabos installed power, water and air connections around the entire perimeter of the dry storage area. These upgrades allow crews and technicians to perform maintenance, inspections, and vessel preparations more efficiently while improving overall convenience for customers.
Launch of Vessel Assist Cabo
Marine Group de Los Cabos is also proud to offer Vessel Assist Cabo, an on-water emergency assistance program to provide reliable support when vessel operators need it most. Vessel Assist Cabo offers services such as towing, battery jump-starts and fuel delivery. New monthly coverage options are now available for seasonal boaters, providing flexible protection for those who spend part of the year cruising Cabo’s waters without committing to a full annual plan. The service reinforces Marine Group’s commitment to boating safety and dependable support throughout the Cabo region.
“These upgrades represent a major investment in our Cabo operations and a direct reflection of our commitment to supporting our customers with best-in-class facilities and services,” said Pete Horner, vice president of Latin American operations. “Cabo is one of the most important marine destinations in the Pacific, and by expanding our infrastructure, enhancing storage capabilities and launching Vessel Assist Cabo, we are ensuring vessel owners, captains, and crews have dependable, high-quality support whenever they need it.”
Marine Group de Los Cabos plays a critical role in supporting sportfishing boats, and recreational yachts operating throughout Baja California. For more information about Marine Group Boat Works’ Cabo services, please visit http://www.marinegroupcabo.com/
