Happy Marine Group Boat Works Day – Let’s Celebrate May 22nd!
On May 10, 2016, the City of Chula Vista officially recognized our shipyard for our contributions to local job creation and economic growth. Since then, we’ve continued to invest in our community—creating over 200 skilled jobs, securing regional contracts, and fueling the skilled workforce that powers the Pacific. To our mechanics, welders, pipefitters, painters, ways crew, facilities and LP team, project managers, painters and office crew—we see YOU and want to celebrate YOU. So join us on Maritime Day for a yard lunch! And special shoutout to those who who reached their 10 and 20 year anniversaries with us – you’ll be recognized at the yard lunch!
