MGBW E-News 7/24/25: Reintroducing the VPs of MGBW, New Fish in the Sea, Open Positions and New Lunch & Learn
Familiar Faces at the Helm – CEO Todd Roberts Promotes Eric Lundeen, Peter Horner and Leah Yam Jones to Vice President Positions |
There hasn’t been a dull moment since Todd Roberts became our newest CEO after buying out the Engel family (full press release here). This year marks his 25th anniversary with MGBW, and he has no plans to slow down. “We have come a long way, but I’d like to think we’re also just getting started,” said Todd. As he focuses his efforts on the growth and expansion of MGBW, MGBW Cabo and Global Services – one of the first changes he has made is promoting three key people in the organization:
- Eric Lundeen, our new Vice President of San Diego Operations
- Peter Horner, our new Vice President of Latin America Operations, and
- Leah Yam Jones, our new Vice President of Global Services
Eric Lundeen, VP of San Diego Operations, has provided exceptional operational guidance since joining us as a PM in 2007 and quickly working his way up to Director of Operations in 2013. He brought with him invaluable yachting experience, implementing unique customer insight into managing all shipyard operations and maintaining a detailed knowledge of projects and resources. Overseeing our production team of more than 150 personnel is no easy feat, but Eric has implemented countless strategies that have improved our overall efficiency and yard flow, paving the way to support a new era of growth to come.

Peter Horner, VP of Latin America Operations, has had his feet on the ground in Cabo since 2010 through his years as Captain of Panache. Coupled with his USCG 200-ton captain’s license, he demonstrated superior knowledge of operating/maintaining yachts and commercial vessels and became fluent in Spanish making him the ideal fit as general manager of our Cabo yard in 2014. For more than 10 years, Peter has transformed the Cabo yard into the most successful and reputable boat repair and dry storage facility in all of Baja. He will continue to oversee Cabo operations while assisting us in expanding our services throughout the region

Leah Yam Jones, VP of Global Services, has been the driving force behind our strong marketing and communications program for the past 20 years. Leah has played a vital role in brand development, business launches, acquisitions and pursuit of contracts that have totaled over $1 billion. This foundational knowledge will prove useful as she transitions into overseeing MGBW’s and Global Services’ expansion beyond the superyacht and commercial customers we currently served.
“I’ve relied heavily on their expertise over the years and am wholeheartedly able to depend on their diverse experience and complementing skillsets to lead MGBW and Global Services into our next era of expansion,” said Todd. “With the help of all the amazing people we have on our team, I know this small-but-mighty group will help me take MGBW to a whole new level to achieve even more wonderful things ahead.”
