Lasting Reminders for MGBW Holiday Party – Saturday, Dec. 7^th!

MGBW’s Casino Royale Holiday Party is this weekend, and we can’t wait to see you there! Here are a few festive reminders to ensure a marvelous time aboard the Star of India:

• Bring your ID – there’ll be beer, wine and cocktails galore!
• Parking is limited so consider carpooling or rideshare
• Wear comfy shoes – the uneven wooden flooring works best with flats, wedges or thick-heeled shoes
• 163 Freeway will likely have traffic from Balboa Park’s December Nights

Chula Vista Police Foundation Toy Drive

MGBW is proud supporter of the Chula Vista Police Foundation’s annual holiday toy drive and need your help in making it a success!

Drop off any new, unwrapped toys to the holiday bins located in the front lobby by Dec. 12^th.

Toys will be provided to South Bay families in need during a very special dinner hosted by the Chula Vista PD on Dec. 16^th.

MGBW Gives Back!

Each year, MGBW spends more than $25,000 to benefit our local community. From feeding the animals at the Living Coast Discovery Center to furnishing the Warrior Foundation barracks, we pay it forward when we can. And as we were closing out the year, MGBW came across one more local non-profit that could benefit from our charitable ways.

The South Bay Guidance Center located in Chula Vista provides adults with serious mental illness and substance use conditions individual counseling, peer support, case management, care coordination, mobile outreach, and crisis intervention. Individuals may also receive assistance with education and employment services. Services are provided in English and Spanish.

This charitable organization also hosts an annual holiday dinner for patients. This year, MGBW will be providing them with a 6-course meal with all the fixings from Honey Baked Ham in Chula Vista.
