Our Safe Approach for Handling COVID
Marine Group Boat Works (MGBW) puts the health and safety of our employees at the forefront of our business. Your compliance to social distance, wear face coverings and report symptoms contributes to preventing and limiting the number of COVID-19 cases. If a positive case does arise, you can feel confident in our HR and COVID Response Team’s successful practice of CDC guidelines which include but are not limited to: contact-tracing, sanitization and preventative practices. We follow strict procedures in accordance with State and County policies which include: identifying individuals who were in close contact with a COVID-19 positive person, sending them out for rapid testing, and allowing them to return to work only upon a negative result or after being quarantined appropriately.
*If you are exhibiting any COVID-19 symptoms at work, immediately isolate yourself and notify HR (619-591-0180) to guide you through next steps.*
For MGBW’s full COVID policies and procedures, visit: https://www.marinegroupbw.com/mgbw-covid-19-policies/
By following the proper procedures and looking out for one another, we can ensure our essential work for the Department of Defense, and private and commercial vessel owners will not go unnoticed.
We are grateful for all of you who rise above the risks we face each day and for doing your part in keeping this critical infrastructure open.
Please contact your Supervisor or HR for any other questions or concerns.
