MGBW SPONSORS FARM TO BAY RAISING $147K, BIGGEST YEAR YET
The annual Farm to Bay celebrated it’s 10th year bringing in the highest revenue to date of $147,000 with net proceeds of $114,000. Marine Group has sponsored this unique fundraising event the previous 6 years which supports native wildlife, education, and sustainability programs at the Living Coast Discovery Center for the community.
The fundraiser’s sustainability team announced 95% of event waste was diverted from the landfill, the highest ever, making it Zero Waste.
